STATEN ISLAND, NY - Last week marked the kickoff of Midweek Math Mapping, an independent eight-part series designed to take teachers through the Algebra 1 curriculum from IM K–12 Math™ by Illustrative Mathematics®️, reviewing concepts through the lens of Casio technology. Unit 1 is available for download.
Over thirty math teachers from Staten Island and Brooklyn school districts have signed up to attend the seminars led by NYC public school math educator Michael Simone from Port Richmond High School. The sessions are being held at Curtis High School in Staten Island and will continue monthly through April 22, 2025, culminating in a NY Regents exam preparation seminar.
