Discontinuing the ClassWiz Emulator (Standalone)

ClassWiz Standalone Emulator

The standalone version of the ClassWiz emulator will be discontinued and unavailable for download at the end of December 2024. Maintenance and support for the standalone emulator is scheduled to cease at the end of March 2026. We strongly encourage all current users of the standalone emulator to migrate to our new integrated browser-based emulation software.

Users of ClassPad.net in the United States are granted access the ClassWiz emulator for free by logging in via a new or pre-existing Google account. To find the emulator, click anywhere in the ClassPad workspace to bring up the main toolbar. On the toolbar you will find a calculator icon. Click the icon to select a model and choose the fx-991EX (legacy) or fx-991CW model.

ClassPad Toolbar and Emulator

You can enjoy the same popular features as on the standalone software: key press history, screenshots, and more.

Now that the ClassWiz emulator is fully integrated with ClassPad.net, students and teachers can access the emulator on any operating system and any device provided that the device is Internet-capable. Much like the handheld fx-991CW's QR code feature, the emulator can plot directly to ClassPad's graph sticky to visualize outputs from the scientific calculator.

The fx-9750GIII and fx-CG50 emulators are also planned to release on ClassPad.net soon, so make sure to bookmark the tool and check back often for updates, news, and announcements!
